Dr. Aja Murphy
Dr. Aja Murphy is a Board-Certified Family Medicine physician born and raised in Chicago, IL. She received a bachelor’s degree in biology from Hampton University and subsequently, earned a master’s degree in biomedical sciences at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Once she enrolled in medical school, her training afforded her the opportunity to provide medical care via medical missions in India and Africa. Although there was a profound lack of resources in both countries, Dr. Murphy recognized that the impact of gaps in medical services leads to the same unfortunate outcomes as those in the U.S.
This observation is what prompted her commitment to developing individualized, patient-centered care while improving access to quality health care for all underserved & marginalized communities. This commitment to those in despair led to the establishment of Revive Community Health.
Provider Tucson
Rhodelie Louis
Rhodelie Louis is a refugee healthcare provider at our Tucson clinic. She received her medical education at the Université d’Etat D’Haiti in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, and continued her specialty training in Puerto Rico as a Physician Assistant. Rhodelie has worked in the setting of refugee healthcare in the past, and remains focused on disease prevention and promotion of a healthy lifestyle in this vulnerable patient population. In addition to her extensive clinical experience, procedural skills, medical therapies, and diagnostic abilities, she is also fluent in English, Spanish, French, and Haitian Creole. Being an immigrant herself gives her personal insight to the difficulty of building a new life in a place that is culturally and geographically unfamiliar. This insight fuels her passion and dedication with the RCH team to deliver higher standards of care to other immigrant/refugee families striving to establish a new home, just as she has.
